Where Am I?

Dear Mr. Pants:

Your advice is needed immediately because I am not sure what is happening. I was hanging out with my mom, dad, brothers and sisters when all of a sudden these humans came along and took me away from them. They are very nice to me and I like them and all, but when am I going home?

Dear Harley:

Don’t be afraid - you are now in your new Forever Home. You should feel very special that the humans have picked you to become a new member of their family. It will take a little while to learn about your new place and explore all the good smells that come with it, so just relax and enjoy each day. If you are feeling stressed out, just head over to your bed or your crate and take a little nap. Or if your humans leave a piece of their clothing on the floor, cuddle up there. Their scents will become more and more familiar and comforting. Then pretty soon you will come to think of your new house as your home.

This will be an exciting adventure for you. Your journey with your humans will have both good days and some bad, but from experience I will tell you that it is all worth it. Keep me updated on your progress.
